Confidential memo

From the desk of: Jiroman Kitzhel, phase 63
Status: confidential, special clearances apply

Cumberland, Krokinole

It appears that the criminal formerly known as "Kokor Hekkus" was born on Alphanor in the year 1046. We have not yet established the exact date but this is just a matter of time. His birth name was William Jaeger Strickman. He was apparently over 450 years old when he died (see the autopsy report by R. Thymms, document id: 7668-KSW-099/11009S).

More details will be reported as they become available.

Jiroman Kitzhel

- Confidential memo from Jiroman Kitzhel, researching the ancestry of Kokor Hekkus. It is unclear why this information was not already known to the Institute as they had a vivid interest in Hekkus's business.
Personal note by Finn: It could be that by "leaking" this memo, the Institute is making available (parts?) of their file on Kokor Hekkus.

Remains of a Hormagaunt

"... The tissues are probably 400, but maybe even 500 years old. We're not sure yet and are still calibrating our equipment. It's difficult to examine a body that has been around for so long while using equipment calibrated for a normal human lifespan. We're crossing boundaries here..."

"... We've found a very large pineal gland. Extremely large. The normal size would be about 5 to 8  millimeters. The subject's was well over 15 millimeters. Appendix B7 supplies pathological details, biopsy imagery together with detailed comments on the pineal gland and the diverted tissues found..."

"... There was no obvious sign of aging. Without any insight on this specific case or any prescision instruments, I would estimate this to be a body of someone in his early thirties...."

"... We are currently investigating the brain tissue in more detail. It appears that the brain is slightly larger than normal - probably 10% - and we found one unknown piece of tissue of which the precise function is yet unknown..."

"... To be plain: we've got a body born between 1000 and 1100, clinically at least 400 years old but looking like a 32 year athlete. I'm baffled..."

The remains

Attel Malagate: Never found. The location of Lugo Teehalt's planet was never disclosed.

Kokor Hekkus: The remains of his body were brought to the Sea Provence University on Alphanor for autopsy and research. A substantial paper was written on the findings.

Viole Falushe: Falushe's body - although heavily damaged - was restored to a presentable state and preserved. It's now on show in the remains of the Palace grounds. Persistent rumors go that essential parts of the body (pieces of the brain, the spinal cord and certain glands) have been removed by an unknown party.

Lens Larque: His body was transferred to Dar Sai. Nobody knows where it is, although it was probably destroyed.

Howard Alan Treesong: The Cleadhoe's have always refused to give up the remains of the last Demon Prince. The lifeless eyes of Howard Alan Treesong still look upon the marmelized body of Nymphotis.

Legacy

"Only now is becoming clear the enormous wealth the deceased Demon Princes amassed." according to a spokesman of IPCC, one of the organizations responsible for dismantling the empires of the former master criminals.

Just a superficial glance at each individuals wealth:

Attel Malagate: real estate, hotels, casino's, holiday resorts, various industrial plants manufacturing equipment for holiday resorts, bank accounts, transportation vehicles, total assets estimated over 12 billion SWE.

Kokor Hekkus: real estate, including several celestial bodies like planets and moons, interstellar transportation equipment like space ships and shuttles, several numbered accounts at prestigious banks, total assets estimated over 15 billion SWE and counting.

Viole Falushe: real estate, bio-techno plants, bank accounts, large collection of fine art, jewelry, an amazing quantity of gold, several celestial bodies including the one hosting the Palace of Love, total assets estimated over 13 billion SWE.

Lens Larque: factories, haulage equipment, industrial equipment, bank accounts, amazing collection of space ships, real estate, total assets estimated over 8 billion SWE and counting.

Howard Alan Treesong: Being the last of the Princes to die, activities are still underway to collect all facts and numbers. So far it appears that Treesong had a liking for plain cash and stocks and bonds. As of today an amount of 4 billion SWE has been tracked back to his name.

As of yet it remains unclear what will happen next. Sources close to Earth and Rigel governments speak of the forming of creating a special Trust an appointing a dedicated Committee to support charitable initiatives using the combined assets. One thing is clear though: it will take a considerable amount of time and effort to get "the books" in order.
